How it started
A world of whimsy and wonder
Tropical Nerds began with Gina, a mom of five in sunny Florida, who found a creative calling in 3D printing. Frustrated by the uneven quality of fantasy miniatures and art prints online (would it be primed? sanded? what was it even made of?), she set out to make pieces that are technically excellent and artistically inspiring.
What started as a mission to perfect fantasy models turned into a viral hit with our holiday decorations. From charming ghosts with hidden legs to custom pieces you won’t find in any store, Gina pours her love of artisanal quality into everything she makes.
